The Storm brings chaos to the world of skim-style wakesurfers with a board that is built to the level of world champion Jodi Grassman. The challenge in creating the storm lay in creating a board that could essentially do it all and generate speed at will while also being able to provide lift and ease of use to cover a deep trick bag. To answer these questions, they started with a loaded construction of a carbon-wrapped PVC construction to create a lightweight board that would respond instantly and then started shaping around it. Using a wider tail profile that finishes in a diamond tail design, the Storm creates that required down-the-line speed to set yourself up for that next drive up the wash, while the tail shape allows for increased maneuverability to get you there and track both standard and switch easily.
